PNPCAT-OAS System Suspended Amid Data Breach Investigation
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has temporarily suspended the PNPCAT-OAS main system for aspiring cadets due to an ongoing investigation into data breaches affecting several PNP online systems. Alongside this, a comprehensive reevaluation of all PNP information systems is currently underway.

The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) has officially released the initial list (Batch C) of qualified examinees for the PNPA Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT) 2024. This announcement covers applicants who successfully submitted their applications online from April 12 to May 12, 2024.
The PNPA urges all qualified candidates to verify their names on the published list. If a candidate’s name is not on the list but they submitted their application between February 12 and May 12, 2024, they are advised to resubmit their application. Ensuring that all application data is complete and accurate is crucial, as incomplete or incorrect information can result in outright disqualification.
Candidates who submitted their applications between May 12 and June 15, 2024, should await the next batch of qualified examinees. The PNPA is committed to maintaining a fair and thorough selection process to ensure that all eligible candidates have the opportunity to join the academy.
The PNPA Online Application System (PNPACAT-OAS) is currently awaiting clearance to resume operations. Prospective candidates are encouraged to prepare their application requirements while the PNPA works to bring the system back online. An official announcement will be made as soon as the system is operational.
